Monitoring and observability architecture design
You have tools, you have logs, you have dashboards, but during an incident, you still search for answers in three different places at once and still cannot determine where the problem actually is. The most common cause is not technical. It is the lack of a consistent architecture that connects data into a single, unified view. Hawatel designs monitoring and observability architectures tailored to your environment, from tool selection to a complete technical design. You can implement it yourself or do it together with us. The design remains yours.

What do you gain?
- A technical design instead of general recommendations. A complete architecture with selected tools, defined data flows, and documented integrations, ready to be handed over to your implementation team.
- Tool selection based on requirements, not trends. We analyze your environment and choose components that actually fit your needs. Every element has a clear justification based on real operational requirements, not on what happens to be popular at the moment.
- An architecture that grows with your environment. New services, additional clusters, and new cloud environments integrate into the existing framework without rebuilding the foundations. Design once, scale without unnecessary complexity.
- No more tools sitting unused on the shelf. Designing the architecture before purchasing licenses eliminates solutions that look impressive in a vendor presentation but do not fit your actual environment.
- Audit and regulatory readiness from day one. Retention, access control, and log data immutability are built into the architecture, not added just before an audit by the Polish KNF, DORA, or NIS2.
Scope of services
- Analytical workshop: We begin by taking inventory of what is already running: what data is being collected, where it is stored, who uses it, and where the gaps are. Without this foundation, there is no proper design, only another layer of tools added on top of existing complexity.
- Data collection and correlation strategy design: We define what should be measured, where data should come from, and how it should be correlated, before deploying any new infrastructure. Infrastructure metrics, application logs, microservice traces, and security events, each data source has its place within the architecture.
- Tool selection and integration: We select components based on requirements, not the other way around. We design the architecture as a set of interconnected layers: infrastructure monitoring, centralized log management, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and visualization and reporting layers.
- Architecture for Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments: Containerized and distributed environments require a dedicated approach, dynamic service discovery, container monitoring, and data collection across multiple regions. We design architectures that operate effectively in environments changing in real time.
- Retention, scalability, and operational cost design: Observability generates massive amounts of data. We design storage policies, data tiering strategies, and indexing approaches to ensure the platform remains efficient and does not generate unexpected costs as your environment grows.
- Technical design and implementation roadmap: The final outcome is a complete technical design with priorities, dependencies, and milestones. You can implement it independently or together with Hawatel, the design remains yours regardless of the implementation model.
